Supporting commercial, regional, and military aircraft worldwide, the site delivers advanced thermal management solutions that enhance aircraft performance, improve reliability, and ensure operational and mission readiness.\nWe are seeking a detail-oriented Quality & Dye Penetrant Inspector to support aerospace repair and overhaul operations. This position is responsible for performing dimensional, visual, and non-destructive inspections of aircraft components and assemblies to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, OEM, FAA, and company quality standards. The successful candidate will conduct fluorescent penetrant inspections (FPI/Dye Penetrant), document inspection results, and support the release of quality products and services.\nHours: 6:30am-3:00pm. Ability to work weekends and overtime.\n Responsibilities\nPerform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of aircraft components, assemblies, and repairs. \nConduct fluorescent penetrant inspections (FPI) and dye penetrant inspections in accordance with approved procedures and industry standards. \nVerify parts and assemblies conform to engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements. \nInterpret blueprints, technical drawings, inspection criteria, and maintenance manuals. \nUtilize precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other inspection equipment. \nIdentify, document, and report non-conforming materials, components, and processes. \nComplete inspection records, certifications, and quality documentation accurately and timely. \nEnsure compliance with FAA regulations, OEM requirements, quality standards, and company procedures. \nSupport root cause investigations and corrective action activities as needed. \nMaintain inspection equipment and ensure calibration requirements are met. \nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, safety, and operational excellence. \nFollow all environmental, health, and safety requirements associated with inspection processes and chemicals.\nRequirements\nHigh school diploma or GED. \n2+ years of quality inspection experience in aerospace, manufacturing, MRO, or FAA Part 145 repair station. \nExperience performing dye penetrant or fluorescent penetrant inspections. \nNAS 410, ASNT, or equivalent NDT certification in Penetrant Testing (PT) preferred.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. \nKnowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or related quality systems. \nExperience with ERP and quality management systems.\nKnowledge of inspection techniques and quality control practices. \nProficiency using precision measuring and testing equipment. \nStrong attention to detail and documentation skills. \nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nAbility to lift 50 pounds.\nAbility to work weekends and overtime.\nBenefits\nTAT Technologies is dedicated to providing an inclusive, fun, and unique workplace.
