Supporting commercial, regional, and military aircraft worldwide, the site delivers advanced thermal management solutions that enhance aircraft performance, improve reliability, and ensure operational and mission readiness.\nWe are seeking an experienced Welder to support our aerospace maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations in Tulsa, OK. This position is responsible for welding and fabricating components for heat exchangers, precoolers, condensers, oil coolers, and other aerospace thermal management products. The ideal candidate will have experience TIG welding a variety of materials including aluminum, stainless steel, nickel alloys, and copper while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and workmanship.\nShift hours: 6:00am-3:30pm with overtime as needed.\nResponsibilities\nFit, blast, and TIG weld aluminum, stainless steel, nickel alloys, copper, and other materials as required. \nSet up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and associated tools. \nOperate standard shop hand tools and fabrication equipment. \nRead and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, weld symbols, specifications, and technical documentation. \nPerform visual inspections to identify penetration, porosity, cracks, appearance issues, and other welding defects. \nUtilize inspection tools to verify dimensional and quality requirements. \nMaintain welding certifications and successfully complete AWS D17.1 welding qualification testing for applicable materials. \nFollow FAA, AS9100, customer, and company quality standards and procedures. \nSupport production, repair, and overhaul activities while maintaining productivity and quality goals. \nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. \nComply with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.\nRequirements\nHigh school diploma or GED required. \nMinimum of 2 years of TIG welding experience, preferably with aerospace or exotic metals. \nMust be able to pass AWS D17.1 weld testing for MRO certification on Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Inconel. \nMust be able to meet all FAA Part 145 and DOT compliance requirements, including any required pre-employment testing. \nMust be authorized to work in the United States.\nAbility to lift 50 pounds.\nExperience welding stainless steel, aluminum, and Inconel required. \nMIG welding experience preferred. \nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. \nTechnical training, vocational certification, or completion of a welding apprenticeship preferred. \nAerospace, aviation, or MRO experience strongly preferred. \nWelding certifications are preferred. \nStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. \nSelf-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.\nOvertime availability is required based on business needs. \nBenefits\nTAT Technologies Group is dedicated to providing an inclusive, fun, and unique workplace.
