The source profile includes hands-on ISO 8583 experience. \nApply ISO 20022 knowledge to payment application changes, message transformations and interface integration.\nDiagnose complex production issues using SQL/PLSQL, Linux, application logs, ISO messages and transaction data.\nDevelop Python/Shell automation for payment processing, reconciliation, monitoring and operational activities.\nPerform code reviews, impact analysis, RCA, performance analysis and technical troubleshooting.\nMentor developers and provide technical direction for complex payment application enhancements.\nMust Have\n10 to 12 years of software/application development experience, with strong hands-on experience in banking and payment systems.\nProgression from Developer to Senior Developer / Technical Analyst, with continued hands-on coding and system-analysis responsibilities.\nStrong understanding of the complete payment transaction lifecycle, not just individual applications.\nStrong ISO 8583 knowledge and working knowledge of ISO 20022.\nExperience in card acquiring, transaction switching, payment processing or authorization platforms.\nExperience with payment networks such as Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
