The role translates business, security, compliance, integration, and migration needs into target architectures, standards, roadmaps, and reusable design patterns while providing technical leadership across delivery.\nKey Responsibilities\nDefine target-state architecture for SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, and related Microsoft 365 services.\nDesign information architecture, including hubs, sites, navigation, taxonomy, metadata, content types, search, permissions, and content lifecycle.\nEstablish governance and security standards for provisioning, ownership, external sharing, access, retention, records management, data loss prevention, and compliance.\nLead architecture for on-premises-to-cloud, tenant-to-tenant, file-share, and legacy-platform migrations, including assessment, tooling, mapping, validation, cutover, and stabilization.\nDesign modern solutions and integrations using SharePoint Framework, Power Platform, Microsoft Graph, APIs, Azure services, and supported Microsoft 365 extensibility models.\nDefine modernization strategies for classic sites, legacy workflows, forms, customizations, and unsupported integrations.\nProduce architecture documents, standards, decision records, security models, migration patterns, and operational runbooks.\nLead design reviews, proofs of concept, technical risk assessments, and quality assurance across security, compliance, performance, accessibility, and supportability.\nPartner with business, architecture, security, engineering, vendor, and support teams; mentor technical teams and resolve complex design issues.\nKey Technical Skills\nAdvanced expertise in SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint Server.\nStrong knowledge of information archite cture, enterprise content management, search, permissions, governance, and records management.\nExperience with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, retention, sensitivity labels, data loss prevention, eDiscovery, audit, and external sharing.\nHands-on design experience with SharePoint Framework, Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, PnP PowerShell, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Azure integration services.\nStrong experience in SharePoint migration assessment, remediation, execution, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and tools such as ShareGate, Migration Manager, or comparable products.\nKnowledge of Azure DevOps or GitHub, continuous integration and delivery, Agile delivery, and IT service-management practices.\nTata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is committed to meeting the accessibility needs of all individuals in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC).
