With a highly skilled workforce supporting customers from coast to coast, TCS has consistently been recognized as a Top Employer by the Top Employers Institute, including a recent top ranking at the country level.\nTCS also sponsors 14 of the world's most prestigious marathons and endurance events, including the TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon, reflecting its commitment to health, sustainability, and community empowerment.\nSRE Consultant\nJob Description\nDefine and lead SRE transformation initiatives aligned with business objectives and platform priorities.\nDemonstrate proven expertise in GenAI usage.\nApply strong knowledge of SRE principles, including SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, toil management, and observability.\nLead SRE maturity assessments across Observability, Incident Management, Problem Management, Shift-Left, and Operational Readiness.\nEstablish and govern SRE operating models across Development, Operations, Security, and Architecture teams.\nDrive the adoption of SLOs, SLIs, SLAs, and error budgets across critical services.\nAct as the primary interface between engineering teams, service management, leadership, and external partners.\nManage multi-workstream SRE programs, ensuring delivery against scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies.\nPrepare executive-level status updates, dashboards, and steering committee communications.\nOversee improvements in incident reduction, MTTR, availability, and resiliency.\nEnsure blameless postmortems, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and action tracking are consistently executed.\nGovern automation initiatives, including runbooks, self-healing, alert tuning, and capacity management.\nTrack and report reliability KPIs, toil reduction, and automation ROI.\nPartner with platform teams on observability and SRE tooling strategy, includ ing monitoring, logging, tracing, and APM.\nEnsure effective integration of ServiceNow, alerting platforms, and SRE tools.\nSupport the training, enablement, and onboarding of teams into SRE practices and mindset.\nRequired Experience\nExperience in IT delivery, operations, reliability, DevOps, or platform engineering roles.\nExperience managing large-scale programs or transformations involving SRE, DevOps, ITIL, or Cloud Operations.\nFamiliarity with distributed systems, cloud platforms, and enterprise application landscapes.\nProven experience driving cross-functional change across engineering and operations teams.\nPreferred Experience\nExperience with Mainframe and other legacy technologies.\nTata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is committed to meeting the accessibility needs of all individuals in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC).
