Our diverse and inclusive workforce allows for all employees to feel valued and safe to give their opinions and improve our company.\nTata Consulting Engineers USA, LLC, (TCE), is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.\nPosition Summary\nProvides technical support to operations, maintenance, and capital project groups to ensure improvements in instrument reliability and to resolve repetitive instrument-related problems.\nResponsibilities\nPlans and directs work, provides technical training, establishes goals and objectives and sets priorities\nLeads and coordinates engineering work assignments and workload using accepted engineering practices\nCoordinates with instrument maintenance department and operations to plan and execute reliability objectives for the plant\nProvides support to Project Engineering on specification of instrumentation for capital projects. Reviews project design packages for proper design regarding reliability, application and maintenance requirements.\nEnsures proper documentation on all instrumentation equipment including equipment files, drawings, specifications, calibration sheets, manuals, etc.\nWorks to improve reliability of process control valves. Develops plans for monitoring performance and addressing problem areas. Assists maintenance in development of repair/upgrade scopes for major turnarounds\nAble to read instrument drawings, data sheets, I/O wiring diagrams, spec sheets, loop sheets, and P&ID’s to ensure proper documentation on instrument related equipment files, calibration sheets, etc.\nQualifications\nCandidate should have a minimum of five (5) years of industrial experience and direct experience working with process instrumentation and project design packages\nShould be experienced in the use of Microsoft Office application software\nWorks well in a team environment, balances multiple projects, and has excellent communication skills to make effective technical presentations\nAnalytical and problem solving skills\nPerforms duties in a manner that protects personal safety as well as the safety of all personnel on site. Whenever appropriate, promptly reports Safety, Health or Environmental incidents or issues to management so the situation can be corrected.
