The candidate shall seek solutions to technical problems, conduct work on assigned tasks, and exhibit a significant level of knowledge and expertise in the electrical engineering field. The candidate is also responsible for providing project deliverables and driving improvements within their field of expertise through implementation of appropriate engineering tools, technologies, and work processes, both as an individual and as part of a project team.\nResponsibilities\nProvide electrical engineering for capital and expense projects including scope definition, cost estimates, design, specification and ordering of equipment, documentation (drawings, equipment files, etc.), implementation, and startup.\nDesign and implement projects that are engineered for safety, operability, and reliability.\nDevelop and submit capital and expense budgets.\nManage capital and expense projects to meet scope, schedule, and cost requirements per the customer.\nLead electrical reliability and plant performance improvements and support maintenance efforts.\nInteract with production and maintenance personnel to solve production or design issues.\nDrive improvements in maintenance work processes, procedures, performance, and cost.\nDevelop Preventive (PM) and Predictive (PdM) Maintenance Plans to improve plant reliability.\nProvide electrical engineering technical support and troubleshooting for plant operating and maintenance departments.\nMaintain expertise in assigned functional areas, for example, instrumentation, analyzers, power distribution, motors, etc.\nSupport development of Obsolescence and Long-Range Plans, which includes identification of equipment and development of mitigation plans (Emerson Delta V and Rockwell PLC hardware platforms, etc.)\nAssure compliance with environmental, health and safety (EHS), PSM, local, state, federal, and corporate standards.\nExperience with low and medium voltage power distribution (13.8 KV, 2400V, 480V), with a heavy industrial setting.\nExperience with control systems (i.e. Emerson Delta V, Rockwell Automation Control Logix platforms, etc.)\nExperience working with vendors, engineers, production personnel and maintenance personnel.\nProject management, design and specifications to support procurement and construction activities for projects.\nStrong communication, business, technical, planning and people skills.\nPersonal computer skills - Office 365 suite required.\nComprehensive knowledge of industry codes and standards (i.e. IEEE, ISA, NFPA, NEC, OSHA).\nDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical equipment (motors, VFD's, circuit breakers, PLC's, etc.).\nPredictive and Preventive Maintenance concepts.\nQualifications\nBS in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).\n4-6 or more years of related project and plant experience.\nDemonstrated successful project management experience.\nSelf-starter who is effectively manages multiple tasks and achieves results with minimal supervision.\nExcellent communication, team interaction and ability to lead/participate on cross-functional teams.\nProven understanding of regulatory and industrial standard and codes.\nEducation Requirements\nBS in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or BS in Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET).\nEEO Statement\nTata Consulting Engineers USA, LLC (“TCE”) is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in our workplace.
