rigorous testing of Android Automotive HMI applications and headless services on:Actual vehicles Vehicle simulators / HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) setupsValidate real-world scenarios including:Driving conditionsNetwork variability (offline/online transitions)Vehicle state changes (ignition, charging, etc.)Test Case Design & Coverage\nDesign and execute detailed test cases covering:Functional scenariosNon-functional scenarios (performance, stability, reliability)Edge cases across vehicle conditions and user interactionsEnsure comprehensive coverage across IVI features and ecosystem integrationsEcosystem & Integration Validation\nValidate integration with:\nTier-1 components and middleware\n Vehicle signals (CAN/LIN) and telematics systems\nConnected services and dependent applications\nEnsure that new features or fixes do not break existing applications or system behavior\nCross-Environment Consistency\nCompare and validate builds across:\n Development (DEV)\n Quality Assurance (QA)\n Production (PROD)\nEnsure zero or minimal delta between standalone testing and integrated Tier-1 environments\nIdentify and resolve discrepancies across environmentsDefect Analysis & Reporting\nIdentify, log, and track vehicle-level defects and integration issuesPerform root cause analysis for issues spanning multiple system layersShare detailed test reports including:Test coverage and execution statusDefect trends and severityIntegration and performance observationsCollaboration & Validation Support\nWork closely with:HMI developers and QA teamsAndroid framework and platform teamsTier-1 suppliers and integration partnersSupport release validation, sign-off activities, and production readiness checksRequired Skills & Expertise\nAutomotive Testing\nStrong experience in vehicle-level testing and validationExperience working with real vehicles, HIL setups, and simulatorsDeep understanding of automotive testing methodologiesAndroid Automotive (AAOS)\nExperience testing Android Automotive HMI and IVI systemsUnderstanding of:System services and headless applications Multi-layer architecture (App → Framework → HAL)\nVehicle Systems &
