Our diverse and inclusive workforce allows for all employees to feel valued and safe to give their opinions and improve our company.\nTata Consulting Engineers USA, LLC, (TCE), is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.\nPosition Summary\nSupports the plant operations by developing, implementing and executing programs, systems and procedures for materials, goods and services procurement and inventory; logistics and scheduling; waste management; and raw materials, intermediates and product management.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and execute the Operations Department inventory management program,\nsystems and procedures, including but not limited to the following: ship and receive\n(physical and electronic) materials; stock inventory; forecast and control inventory levels;\nconduct physical inventories; process documentation; track data; file and maintain\nrecords; generate and submit reports; and audit program for compliance with company standards and local, state and federal regulations.\nAssist the Logistics/Procurement Specialist with procuring materials, goods and services\nfor the Operation’s Department. Duties include, but not limited to the following: identify\nand develop sources for goods and services; generate and process Requests for Quotation\n/ Proposals; prepare and fully process purchase requests and purchase orders; make local\nnon-stock purchases; coordinate material, goods and services schedule and delivery; and maintain records.\nDevelop and implement the Operations Department’s waste management program.\nDuties include, but are not limited to the following: develop and implement systems and\nprocedures; coordinate and schedule services; prepare and approve shipping documents;\nprepare labeling; coordinate and make wastes ready for shipment; maintain high level of housekeeping at waste storage pad; ensure waste storage pad, satellite storage areas, Tank\nFarm waste storage and other department waste storage; ensure compliance with\ncompany standards and regulatory requirements; train Operators on waste program systems and procedures; and audit program.\nDevelop and execute systems and procedures for raw material, intermediates and product\nmanagement such as procurement, scheduling, receiving, logistics, shipping,\ninventorying, warehousing, documentation generation & control, data tracking and manage, track and report spending against budget.\nEnsures compliance with all federal/state safety/environmental regulations and\nprocedures\nParticipates in investigations involving health, safety and environmental issues.\nEngages in problem solving and continuous improvement on an on-going basis\nPerform other duties that may be assigned.\nAnalytical - In order to perform the duties of the Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator, an\nindividual must be able to use intuition and experience to complement data and information;\ndesign work flows and procedures to accomplish goals.\nProblem Solving - This individual must identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather\nand analyze information; develop alternative solutions when necessary, work well in group\nproblem solving situations; use reason even when dealing with emotional topics.\nTechnical Skills - This individual should have good computer skills especially in the area of\nMicrosoft Office Products and NAV. The Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator should have the\nability to read and understand P&ID’s and PFD.\nInterpersonal Skills - This individual must focus on solving conflict, not blaming; maintain\nconfidentiality in specific situations; listen to others without interrupting; keep emotions under\ncontrol; remain open to others' ideas and tries new things when possible.\nOral Communication - The ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative\nsituations; listen and get clarification; respond well to questions; and participate in meetings\nwhen called upon.\nWritten Communication - Must be able to write clearly and informatively. Individual should be\nable to read and interpret written information.\nTeamwork - This individual works as a team member for the efficient operation of the plant.\nTherefore, he/she must balance team and individual responsibilities; exhibit objectivity and\nopenness to others' views; give and welcome feedback; contribute to building a positive team\nspirit; able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives; support everyone's\nefforts to succeed.\nQuality Management - Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Demonstrates accuracy\nand thoroughness.\nBusiness Acumen - Understands business implications of decisions (work design, delays,\npurchases, impact on budget, etc.); Aligns work with strategic goals.\nDiversity - This individual should be aware of Kureha PGA’s EEO policy when interacting and\ncommunicating with his/her co-workers. He/she uses equipment and\nmaterials properly.\nAttendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; Provides sufficient notification of\nunscheduled absences to ensure work responsibilities are covered; Arrives at meetings and\nappointments on time.\nQualifications\nAbility to read and interpret: P&IDs/PFDs, specifications, contracts,\nshipping documents and other documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance\ninstructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, correspondence and\nother documents.\nMathematical skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure,\nusing whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio,\nand percent.\nProficient in Microsoft Office Products. Knowledge of computerized\npurchasing and maintenance systems preferred.\n2+ years of manufacturing plant experience with preference experience in Chemical\n2 + years of experience in Purchasing and Logistics preferred but not required.\nEducation Requirements\nAssociates degree or higher.
