Tate plays a pivotal role in offering expertise in cutting edge design engineering, working collaboratively with clients as a trusted partner.\nAbout the Role\nAs the Engineering Coordinator you will operate within our shared engineering Centre of Excellence (CoE) team, with particular focus on training & engineering compliance coordination. You will be the execution engine driving engineering quality, procedural adherence, and continuous learning. Reporting directly to the local Engineering CoE Lead, you will ensure that our global engineering community is thoroughly trained on internal platforms, CAD standards, and document control workflows. You will also coordinate and execute internal audits to maintain the accuracy and compliance with our engineering systems, library, processes and database systems.\nKey Responsibilities\nCoordinate internal technical communication between the engineering teams and CoE team.\nCapture feedback and learning gaps from engineers, collaborating with the CoE team to continuously refine engineering processes and system functionality.\nMaintain CoE teams’ project tracking data to ensure accurate visibility into the team’s current workload and progress. \nOversee the creation, maintenance, and regular review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and engineering documentation governance guidelines.\nDevelop compelling presentations, interactive training modules, visual workflows, and reference materials that are easy to follow and understand.\nCoordinate, schedule, and facilitate training sessions for engineers on system capabilities, library content, standard workflows, SOPs and available automation tools.\nWorking with our data analysts, track training completion rates, assessment scores, and audit findings. Help to feed this data into metrics dashboards to give management visibility into operational risks and compliance.\nMonitor and maintain the compliance of SharePoint metadata, part numbering conventions, purchased parts specifications, and revision/release histories.\nProvide regular reports and updates to management, on performance, milestones, and potential risks.\nExperience:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, design, technical communications, quality management, or a related field.\nAdditional certifications in records management, project coordination or document control systems a plus\nProven experience of 3 to 5 years in an engineering, project coordination, or technical quality assurance role.\nProven experience coordinating technical training programs or conducting engineering/quality compliance audits.\nAbility to manage multiple training and audit schedules simultaneously in a dynamic team environment.\nUnderstand, interpret, and explain engineering process maps, value streams, and workflows.\nExceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. The ability to engage, teach, and constructively give feedback to peer engineers regarding non-compliance.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and Bill of Materials (BOM).\nExperience with project management software and document management systems.\nProven ability to build strong, open, and honest relationships with key project stakeholders.\nBasic ability to navigate 3D modelling software like SolidWorks, Inventor, Onshape, CADWorx, Plant3D, Revit or Navisworks a plus.\nThis is a permanent role with an excellent salary and package on offer.
