Interacting with a range of different stakeholders to achieve alignment with customer requirements, company standards, and quality related regulatory compliance. This role is customer facing requiring strong communication skills, attention to details, and ability to multitask to help drive the company’s strategy forward as a valued added and customer first supplier.\nMAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES\nProviding and maintaining product information such as customer specifications, testing parameters, shelf life, nutritional data, MSDS, technical data, regulatory compliance, quality audits, religious certifications\nCompleting customer questionnaires and surveys\nCoordinating customer audits and facilitates NDA process\nPopulating various portal platforms with quality information\nIssuing or approving continuing guarantees, quality agreements, special customer quality or shipping requirements, quality statements\nIssuing or approving quality certifications for regulatory compliance, GMO status and potential product impurities\nFacilitating resolution of quality complaints with customers\nFacilitating disposition of returned and rejected products\nReviewing and facilitating customer claims related to quality complaints\nNegotiating specification differences with customers\nApproving process and product specification changes\nFacilitating and reviewing customer notifications for change management \nWorking closely with Sales, Product Management, Science and Innovation, Technical Service and Customer Service related to customer/product issues\nActing as back up for other fellow Technical Quality team members\nDocumenting internal metrics\nOther duties as assigned\n·\nPERFORMANCE MEASURES\nMeet Service Level Agreements (Portals, Document/Packet requests, Metrics, Customer Excellence)\nBecome an expert in assigned product lines\nEHSQS:\n· Perform, maintain and improve the EHSQS standards and requirements\n· Participate actively in the Company’s EHSQS program including training, audit, etc.\n· Report near miss or unsafe act\nLEGISLATIVE REQUIREMENTS\n[N/A]\nCOMPETENCIES, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS\nCOMPETENCIES\nThe qualified candidate will be a self-motivated, energetic individual who is highly process oriented and capable of anticipating Technical Quality Manager needs and proactively adjusting to meet those needs. Also, must be detailed oriented with the ability to work with various other internal functions to improve productivity of customer facing teams while keeping a positive attitude.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nThe qualified candidate will have a four year degree or relevant experience, preferably in business or science related field of study.\nEXPERIENCE\nThree to five years of experience in customer service, manufacturing, or similar commercial functions. Experience with SAP and Tate & Lyle contracting processes is preferred. Laboratory, GMP, HACCP, Quality, Manufacturing related experience desired. Knowledge of Tate & Lyle products and product applications desired.\nSKILLS / KNOWLEDGE\n· Experience with Sharepoint, Salesforce, TraceGains and SAP preferred\n· Experience with Microsoft Excel, and Nitro/Adobe\n· Attention to detail.\n· Problem solving skills.\n· Self-Motivated\nWhat we can offer you\nTate & Lyle complies with all local/state regulations requiring salary range transparency.
