The ideal candidate thrives in an agile environment and has a passion for delivering world-class solutions.\nSpecific responsibilities include:\nEnsure compliance with all safety policies and procedures, promote safe work practices, and foster a strong safety culture.\n\nWorking rotating shift supporting a 7-Days/Week, 24 Hr/Day operation\n\nWorking overtime as needed.\n\nProfessional, pro-active and self-managing approach to work\n\nRequired skills, experience and traits:\n5-8 years related mechanical experience.\n\nExtensive experience in rotating equipment repair and installation (including power transmission, bearings, precision measurement, and precision shaft alignment).\n\nDemonstrated ability to read and understand equipment manuals and assembly drawings.\n\nRigging and general welding (Mig, Tic, Arc) experience.\n\nEffective verbal and written communications with all levels of the organization\n\nMain accountabilities\nPlan, layout, and perform diversified installation, maintenance, and repair operations, as assigned to maintain the physical plant, machinery, equipment, and auxiliaries in proper operating condition.\nWork from drawings, P&IDs, sketches, diagrams, manuals, work orders, and oral instructions to install, adjust, repair, and perform maintenance duties.\nMaintain, adjust, install or repair physical assets included but not limited to: pumps, pipes, vessels, motors, conveyors, mills, etc.\nUse measuring and testing instruments.\nLevel, align and secure machines, equipment and auxiliaries.\nWelding ; MIG, TIG, and Stick.\nDeliver effective turnover to the oncoming team through verbal and written communication (logbook).\nSafely perform all required duties. Includes but not limited to, performing safety audits, monthly training topics, and daily safety messages.\nMaintain a clean work environment per established Good Manufacturing Practices.\nRequired to learn all aspects of Technical Process Operation via a progressive training program and demonstrate proficiency.\n\nTrain other technicians.\n\nPhysical Requirements This position requires the ability to safely perform the following tasks:\nAbility to lift equipment and tools up to 50 pounds without mechanical assistance\nUse of hand tools above shoulders, under ergonomically stressful conditions, and under application of heavy force by employee\nWork in elevated positions with hand tools and fall restraint equipment\nAbility to wear personnel protective equipment (PPE)\nMust be able to pass pulmonary test that is required prior to wearing breathing air mask\nAbility to perform work in confined spaces while wearing breathing PPE\nAbility to climb stairs and ladders (fixed/portable) with tools when safe to do so.\nAbility to work from heights, and in cold and hot environments.\nClimb a vertical ladder up to 15ft\nClimb several flights of stairs, several times a shift\nStand for prolonged periods of time\nBending and twisting motion at the waist and knees\nAbility to work a rotating shift schedule with flexibility to work alternate schedules as needed.\n\nTate & Lyle complies with all local/state regulations requiring salary range transparency.\nWhen determining final compensation, we take into consideration: skillset, job scope, knowledge, prior experience, cost of living, market data, budget availability, and other factors as permitted by law.\nPay range for this position is: $40.34 - $41.34/hour.\nIn addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes but is not limited to:\nMedical, Dental, Vision coverages\n\nPaid time off package, including vacation, sick time, and 16 weeks of paid parental leave\n\n401K with company match\n\nCompany paid life insurance\n\nAdditional benefits at not cost to employee such as: Lifestyle Spending Account, Identity Theft protection, Employee Assistance Program, telemedicine and more!\n\nIn addition to your Total Rewards, culture and ED&I are very important to Tate & Lyle.
