This role includes supervising daily cleaning operations, training employees, maintaining supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nInspect facilities regularly to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met\nTrain new employees on cleaning procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols\nMonitor staff performance\nEnsure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies\nRespond to special cleaning requests and emergency situations\nCoordinate with management regarding maintenance issues or improvements\nLead by example\nEXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND LICENSURE:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred\n2-5 years of custodial or janitorial experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role\nKnowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment\nStrong leadership and organizational skills\nAbility to communicate effectively with staff and management\nBasic computer skills for scheduling and reporting\nFamiliarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards\nREASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS:\nReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the following essential functions.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nNone.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nWork is performed indoors with some potential risks to safety and health hazards.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nMust be able to lift/carry 50 pounds, push/pull 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods.\nMust be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.\nMust be able to work around food and cleaning products\nWORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE:\nDoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
