This role oversees daily custodial operations, assigns work, inspects completed tasks, and ensures all cleaning activities follow established procedures, safety protocols, and organizational policies.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSupervise and coordinate the daily activities of custodial staff to ensure all assigned areas are cleaned and maintained properly.\nAssign tasks, manage schedules, and monitor workflow to ensure timely and efficient completion of custodial duties.\nConduct routine inspections of work areas, equipment, and completed tasks to verify quality and compliance with cleaning standards.\nProvide training, guidance, and performance feedback to custodial personnel.\nEnsure proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies in accordance with safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.\nMaintain inventory of custodial supplies and request replenishment as needed.\nEnforce safety procedures, including proper PPE use and adherence to OSHA and company safety requirements.\nAddress customer service requests and resolve custodial-related issues promptly.\nDocument work activities, maintain logs, and support reporting requirements as needed.\nSupport special cleaning projects, event setups, and emergency response needs.\nPerform additional duties as assigned.\nEXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND LICENSURE:\nActive Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain and maintain).\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n3-4 years of custodial experience, including prior experience in a supervisory or lead role.\nStrong understanding of custodial practices, cleaning procedures, and sanitation standards.\nAbility to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.\nKnowledge of workplace safety practices and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.\nStrong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.\nAbility to maintain accurate records and manage supplies effectively.\nREASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS:\nReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the following essential functions.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPrior experience in the supervision of a workforce responsible for operations, maintenance, and repair of commercial building infrastructure systems. \nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nMust be able be able to conduct preventative maintenance activities and minor repairs from ladders or elevated platforms. \nWork requires the incumbent to walk, stoop, bend, kneel, climb and work in uncomfortable positions. \nAbility to lift, carry and set up tools, equipment and parts that weigh up to and occasionally over fifty (50) pounds. \nMust be comfortable getting dirty, dusty, and greasy in an indoor or outdoor environment with frequent exposure to excessive noise. \nMust be able to perform duties under adverse weather conditions (extreme cold / heat, etc.).\nMust be able to work alternate shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements of the customer, to include weekends and holidays.\nMust be able to perform on-call duties when scheduled and report to work within one hour of notification. \nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nMust be able be able to conduct preventative maintenance activities and minor repairs from ladders or elevated platforms. \nWork requires the incumbent to walk, stoop, bend, kneel, climb and work in uncomfortable positions. \nAbility to lift, carry and set up tools, equipment and parts that weigh up to and occasionally over fifty (50) pounds. \nWORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE:\nSecret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
