Specifications are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job.\nSUMMARY:\nThe General Cleaner is responsible for performing routine custodial cleaning to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment. This role focuses on full-area cleaning of offices, common spaces, restrooms, and work areas after daily business operations have ended.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nClean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and kitchen areas.\nSweep, mop, dust, and vacuum floors and surfaces.\nEmpty trash and recycling throughout the facility.\nWipe down desks, counters, tables, doors, and high-touch surfaces.\nRestock restroom supplies. (soap, paper products, etc.)\nPerform basic floor care tasks.\nClean glass, partitions, interior doors, and entrance areas.\nFollow all safety procedures, chemical handling rules, and company cleaning standards.\nReport maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisor.\nSecure building doors and ensure areas are ready for the next business day.\nOther duties as assigned.\nEXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND LICENSURE:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent is preferred.\nPrior experience preferred.\nAbility to lift, bend, walk, stand, and perform repetitive tasks.\nAttention to detail and ability to follow a cleaning schedule.\nReliability and consistent attendance.\nAbility to retain or obtain a background/security clearance commensurate with the position.\nAbility to work independently while consistently adhering to all safety and security policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.\nREASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS:\nReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the following essential functions.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nNone.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nWork is performed indoors with some potential risks to safety and health hazards.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nMust be able to lift/carry 50 pounds, push/pull 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods.\nMust be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.\nMust be able to work around food and cleaning products\nWORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE:\nDoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
