These services are provided 24/7.\nWe are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support leadership in making informed, data-driven decisions. This role will focus on analyzing operational and performance data, developing key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and risks, and translating complex data into actionable insights for executive stakeholders.\nThis is a high-visibility role that directly supports strategic planning, operational performance improvement, and executive decision-making.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDecision Support & Strategic Analysis\nPartner with CIO/OITO leadership to identify key business questions and performance objectives.\nDevelop and maintain KPIs aligned to strategic and operational goals.\nAnalyze operational, financial, and IT performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.\nConduct scenario and impact analysis to support leadership decisions.\nData Analysis & Reporting\nExtract, clean, and analyze data from multiple systems and sources.\nDevelop recurring reports and executive dashboards using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.\nPerform root cause analysis on operational issues and performance gaps.\nEnsure consistency and reliability of reporting metrics.\nExecutive Communication & Data Storytelling\nTranslate analytical findings into clear, concise insights tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.\nPrepare executive briefings, summaries, and visualizations to inform leadership discussions.\nPresent findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.\nProcess & Performance Improvement\nIdentify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve data integrity.\nSupport data governance and metric standardization efforts.\nRecommend performance improvements based on analysis.\nCollaboration\nWork closely with cross-functional IT, operations, and program teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment.\nServe as a trusted advisor to leadership on data interpretation and performance measurement.\nWhat Success Looks Like in This Role\nLeadership receives clear, actionable insights - not just data.\nKPIs are defined, standardized, and consistently reported.\nDecision-making improves through better visibility into performance trends and risks.\nReporting becomes proactive rather than reactive.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).\n5-7 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or decision support roles.\nStrong proficiency in SQL and data querying.\nExperience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).\nStrong analytical and critical thinking skills.\nDemonstrated experience supporting executive or senior leadership with data-driven insights.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.\nExperience working in a government or IT operations environment preferred.\nFamiliarity with data governance, compliance, and reporting best practices.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.\nOccasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs.\nMust possess good vision and hearing capabilities.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nWork Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
