This role requires three (3) years of experience writing and editing technical documents, with demonstrated experience revising or writing standardized material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications concerned with work methods and procedures, and installation, operation, and maintenance of machinery and other equipment. This position requires a DoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nResearch, write, and edit technical and administrative publications, including manuals, reports, briefs, proposals, and instruction books.\nRevise and standardize material for consistency, clarity, and compliance with applicable style guides and standards.\nCollaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and program staff to gather technical information.\nReview and edit documents prepared by others for accuracy, grammar, and formatting.\nDevelop and maintain document templates and style guides.\nEnsure technical documentation complies with contract and customer requirements.\nTrack document revisions and maintain version control.\nPrepare documentation related to work methods, procedures, and the installation, operation, and maintenance of machinery and equipment.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nEXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND LICENSURE:\nThree (3) years of experience writing and editing technical documents.\nDemonstrated experience revising or writing standardized material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications concerned with work methods and procedures, and installation, operation, and maintenance of machinery and other equipment.\nREASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS:\nReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the following essential functions.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nNone.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nWork is typically performed in an office setting.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nMay require lifting up to 25 pounds.\nWORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE:\nDoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
