The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Java-based microservices, OpenShift, troubleshooting complex production issues, monitoring, and DevOps practices.\nKey Responsibilities\n Lead Level 2/Level 3 production support for enterprise microservices applications. \n Act as the technical lead during production incidents, driving issue resolution and coordinating with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams. \n Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for application, middleware, infrastructure, and performance-related issues. \n Monitor production systems proactively to identify risks, performance degradation, and potential outages. \n Support application deployments, release management, rollbacks, and environment readiness within OpenShift. \n Ensure compliance with SLAs by managing incidents, service requests, and problem tickets effectively. \n Analyze application logs, JVM behavior, container health, and infrastructure metrics to resolve complex issues. \n Drive continuous service improvements by identifying recurring issues and implementing permanent solutions. \n Develop and maintain operational runbooks, knowledge base articles, and support documentation. \n Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior support engineers. \n Collaborate with development teams to improve application reliability, observability, and supportability. \n Participate in release planning, production readiness reviews, and post-implementation validation. \n Support disaster recovery activities, failover testing, and business continuity initiatives. \n Participate in an on-call support rotation for critical production systems.\nRequirements\nRequired Technical Skills\nTechnology Stack\n Java \n Quarkus \n Spring Boot \n Redis \n Message Queue (RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, Kafka, or similar) \nCore Technical Competencies\n Expert-level troubleshooting of distributed microservices applications \n Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and REST APIs \n Production monitoring and application performance analysis \n Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Problem Management \n DevOps practices and CI/CD support \n Containerized application support \n Linux administration and shell scripting \n Log analysis and debugging across distributed systems \nHosting Environment\n Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) \nPreferred Experience\n 6-10+ years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). \n Minimum 4+ years supporting Java-based microservices in enterprise production environments. \n Hands-on experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes platforms. \n Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical applications. \n Strong understanding of distributed systems, caching strategies, and messaging platforms. \n Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments. \n Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an
