The role is responsible for ensuring the availability, stability, and performance of critical banking batch and online processing. As part of a 24x7 production support organization, the engineer will lead production incident resolution, monitor End-of-Day (EOD) batch processing, troubleshoot complex application issues, and work closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure uninterrupted banking operations.\nKey Responsibilities\n Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support for Systematics ALS applications. \n Monitor and support End-of-Day (EOD), Beginning-of-Day (BOD), and scheduled batch processing activities. \n Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex production incidents affecting Systematics ALS applications. \n Analyze batch failures, job abends, JCL errors, and processing delays to ensure successful business processing. \n Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent corrective actions for recurring issues. \n Monitor application performance, batch execution, and system availability to maintain operational stability. \n Support production deployments, implementation activities, and post-release validation. \n Coordinate with application development, infrastructure, database, and operations teams during production incidents. \n Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, support procedures, and knowledge base articles. \n Participate in disaster recovery exercises, production readiness reviews, and change management activities. \n Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership during major incidents. \n Ensure compliance with operational standards, SLAs, and ITIL best practices.\nRequirements\nRequired Technical Support. \n Minimum 4+ years supporting Systematics ALS applications in enterprise banking or financial services environments. \n Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, and VSAM. \n Experience supporting large-scale banking batch processing and mission-critical production environments. \n Experience with enterprise job scheduling tools such as Control-M, CA-7, or equivalent. \n Familiarity with ITIL-based production support processes. \n Knowledge of core banking systems and Asset & Liability Management (ALM) processes is an
