These values shape our culture and commitment to excellence, making Tayco a dynamic and rewarding workplace.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Junior Product Data Coordinator is responsible for learning, understanding and owning the end-to-end process of furniture manufacturing at scale. This includes translating new requirements into clear instructions and guidance for production, scheduling, inventory and operations improvement departments. This is a highly cross functional position and will require extensive collaboration as well as a deep understanding of our specific manufacturing processes and supporting technology.\nResponsibilities:\nTranslate engineering drawings into BOMs within the company's ERP system (Jeeves). \nEnsure accuracy and completeness of Item Master and BOMs to support efficient manufacturing processes. \nDevelop proficiency in using Jeeves for product data management, with guidance from senior team members. \nAssist with setting up items and work processes for manufacturing within Jeeves, following established procedures and direction from the team. \nSupport the setup and maintenance of item master records in Jeeves, including required parameters for order processing. \nRegularly update and maintain product data in response to engineering notices, changes in materials, or modifications to the BOM. \nAssist in approving engineering specials and cost specials in the absence of team members. Collaborate with the team on new product lines to determine how BOMs should be processed and set up in Jeeves. \nIdentify item master data issues and escalate or assist with resolving them in a timely manner. \nImplement data quality standards to maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency. \nEvaluate and suggest improvements to existing data management processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.\n Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook. \nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills. \nAbility to interpret engineering drawings and translate them into accurate BOMs. \nExperience in maintaining item master data and BOMs.\nFamiliarity with manufacturing processes and the parameters required for processing orders.\nEffective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.\nProactive problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changes in product data.\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nThe working conditions described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
