Today we bring that same rigor to brands across all industries - crafting distinct identities, award-winning packaging and brand experiences that capture attention, foster loyalty and drive growth.\nWe build brands that create connections.\nJMD is seeking a Mid-Level Designer to join our creative team and bring brand ideas to life across every consumer touchpoint, from packaging and merchandising to campaigns, social content, retail and brand identity.\nWorking closely with the VP Creative, Senior Art Director and Senior Designer, you'll develop concepts and design across 360 creative programs, then carry them through to production: building artwork mechanicals and DTOs, preparing files for print and managing the back and forth on retouching and comps.\nThis role is ideal for a versatile designer who loves seeing one idea stretch across a pack, a display, a campaign and a social feed, is just as happy perfecting a mechanical as exploring a new concept, and is already using AI tools to make the work better and faster.\nWork Authorization: \nTo be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.\nKEY TRAITS\n360 Creative Thinker: sees how one idea extends from packaging to merchandising, campaigns, social and retail.\nVersatile Designer: moves easily between brand identity, packaging, layout, campaign and digital content.\nTechnically Precise: builds accurate artwork mechanicals and DTOs and understands print production.\nAI-Curious and Innovative: uses AI tools to explore ideas, generate content variations and speed up production.\nOrganized and Collaborative: manages details, deadlines and feedback rounds with ease.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDesign across 360 creative programs: packaging, merchandising and retail displays, integrated campaigns, social and digital content, and brand identity.\nDevelop concepts and extend them into cohesive campaigns and brand systems that work consistently across every touchpoint.\nDesign campaign and advertising assets, including key visuals, print, out-of-home and digital ads.\nCreate social and digital content, and support photo and video shoots from mood boards and shot lists through to final selects.\nDesign merchandising and retail materials, including displays, gift sets, in-store graphics and launch kits.\nBuild accurate artwork mechanicals and DTOs and hand them off to the production team once specifications are aligned.\nPrepare files for print, working with production on dielines, specifications, color and finishing.\nManage the back and forth on retouching and comps, and prepare mockups for client review.\nUse AI tools for ideation, image exploration, content variations and production efficiency.\nWork closely with the creative team and Project Manager to deliver on time and within budget.\nContribute ideas for pitches, internal thought pieces and social content.\nSKILLS & EXPERTISE\nStrong conceptual, branding and graphic design skills, with a portfolio that shows range across packaging, campaigns, social and merchandising.\nExperienced user of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat); motion or video editing skills (After Effects, Premiere) are a plus.\nStrong typography, layout and art direction instincts for campaign and social content.\nStrong working knowledge of artwork mechanicals, DTOs, dielines and print production.\nAbility to render in 2D for presentations; retouching capabilities.\nRequired: working knowledge of AI creative tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, ChatGPT) and an interest in applying them to design, content and production.\nKnowledge of packaging materials and structure; 3D rendering experience is a plus.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to multitask, manage multiple priorities and communicate status clearly.\nProficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).\nREQUIREMENTS\nBFA or BS in Graphic Design, Packaging Design or a related field.\n3-5 years of experience in an agency or in-house studio; beauty, fashion or lifestyle experience preferred.\nExperience designing across packaging, campaigns, social and merchandising.\nHands-on experience producing artwork mechanicals and DTOs for print.\nRequired: familiarity with using AI tools in a creative workflow.\nA portfolio showing 360 creative work alongside production-ready files.\nThe anticipated annual salary range for this position is $60k-$80k. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
