It’s time to look at Taylor.\nYour Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is seeking an Equipment Operator in our Fridley-MN facility who is responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining equipment while ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety standards. You will play a crucial role in daily operations and contributing to production goals.\nWork Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.\nYour Responsibilities:\nSetup, operate, and monitor complex machinery, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to production schedules\n\nConduct thorough inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to identify potential issues before they impact production\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime\n\nTrain and mentor new and existing employees on machinery operation, safety protocols, best practices, and quality expectations\n\nDelegate tasks effectively to enhance team productivity and maintain a smooth workflow\n\nServe as a positive role model, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability\n\nProvide regular updates to the Production Supervisor on equipment status, production metrics, and any issues encountered\n\nMaintain accurate and detailed records related to equipment performance, production output, and maintenance activities\n\nEnsure compliance with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT, and environmental regulations\n\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all departmental policies and procedures\n\nUtilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consistently and correctly\n\nMaintain accurate data entry for time keeping, job costing, and MRP job tracking\n\nAbility to setup of equipment for new products and complex projects\n\nMaterials management - request materials required to maintain productivity\n\nYour Shift:\n3rd Shift; Sunday - Thursday, 10:00pm - 6:00am\n\nYou Must Have:\nMachine Operation experience\n\nAbility to comprehend number sequencing and recognize errors\n\nAbility to work with numbers\n\nMaintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance\n\nAbility to follow written and verbal directions\n\nHas good mechanical aptitude\n\nAbility to work overtime as needed\n\nAbility to respond to continually changing priorities and coordinate multiple projects\n\nPerform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment\n\nInteract constructively and effectively with all plant employees\n\nAbility to work in a team environment toward a common goal\n\nReacts to change productively and handles other tasks assigned\n\nA service-oriented individual with a high energy, positive and friendly demeanor\n\nAbility to stand for prolonged periods\n\nRequirements Within This Position:\nAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand\n\nRegularly required to remain in a stationary position\n\nConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials\n\nFrequently required to move inside the facility\n\nRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)\n\nThe anticipated hourly range for this position is $20.00 - 25.00 The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
