You’ll take the lead on complex finishing jobs, perform color calibrations, and ensure high-quality output throughout the production run.\nYour Shift:\n4x10 Shift (Monday - Thursday)\n2:30 PM - 1:00 AM\nYour Responsibilities:\nRead and interpret job tickets to set up finishing and press equipment correctly\nOperate a variety of equipment including folding, stitching, coiling, cutting, gluing, and digital presses\nConduct color calibration and maintain consistent color output on digital presses\nInspect work for quality assurance throughout the production process\nPerform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime\nTrack inventory, place finished goods in designated areas, and maintain accurate labels\nCoordinate with production leads to meet job deadlines\nFollow all safety and housekeeping procedures\nYou Must Have:\nStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently\nSolid understanding of production workflows and quality standards\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple jobs under time constraints\nBasic math and measurement skills\nDependable, punctual, and open to flexible shifts/overtime\nRequirements within this position:\nAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand\nRegularly required to remain in a stationary position\nConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials\nFrequently required to move inside the facility\nRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)\nWe Would Also Prefer:\nExperience in a commercial printing, packaging, or manufacturing environment\nFamiliarity with digital press platforms and color management processes\nExperience performing basic equipment adjustments and preventative maintenance\nKnowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement principles\nExperience using job tracking, inventory, or production management systems\nAbility to train or assist less experienced team members\nForklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment\nStrong attention to detail with a proven record of producing high-quality work\nAbout Taylor Corporation\nOne of the largest print and communications firms in North America, Taylor's family of companies provides a diverse set of products, services and technologies that address the toughest business challenges.
