It’s time to look at Taylor.\nYour Opportunity:\nTaylor Print & Visual Impressions, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for an Equipment Operator to run Kluge equipment at our Bloomington, IL facility.\nYour Shift:\n1st Shift, Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm\nYour Responsibilities:\nSet up and operate folder-gluer equipment according to job specifications and production requirements.\n\nRead and interpret job tickets, planning sheets, layouts, and samples to ensure proper setup.\n\nSet up feeders, folding sections, glue systems, compression sections, and other machine components as required.\n\nRun jobs efficiently while maintaining production speed, accuracy, and quality standards.\n\nMonitor glue application, folding, alignment, scoring, and finished product throughout the run.\n\nInspect finished products to ensure they meet job specifications and quality requirements.\n\nMake necessary machine adjustments to maintain consistent product quality.\n\nComplete all required work according to production schedules and customer deadlines.\n\nFollow established safety, quality, and operating procedures.\n\nReport defective materials, machine issues, or quality concerns to the Supervisor or Lead.\n\nMaintain a clean and organized work area and perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.\n\nWork as part of the bindery team and assist with other production needs as directed.\n\nYou Must Have:\nBasic bindery knowledge and skills to operate bindery equipment\n\nAbility to read and interpret simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos and follow directions\n\nAbility to perform basic math calculations\n\nRequirements within this position:\nAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand\n\nRegularly required to remain in a stationary position\n\nConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials\n\nFrequently required to move inside the facility\n\nRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)\n\nWe Would Also Prefer:\nHigh mechanical aptitude\n\nPrevious experience operating equipment\n\nThe anticipated hourly range for this position is $19 - 21. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
