It is active across Europe and North America, with a strong presence in large offshore wind and grid-scale renewable energy investments.\nThis role is focused on CAPEX procurement for Solar PV (modules and BoS), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and High Voltage (HV) equipment such as substations, transformers, and cables. The position is purely procurement-focused, with responsibility for commercial strategy, supplier engagement, and contract negotiation across a portfolio of projects.\nThe role reports to the VP Procurement, Americas and works closely with Development, Engineering, Construction, Investment, and Legal teams to ensure procurement strategies align with project timelines, financing requirements, and long-term asset value.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and implement CAPEX procurement strategies aligned with project development schedules and portfolio priorities\nLead end-to-end sourcing processes including RFIs, RFPs, bid evaluation, negotiation, and contract award\nStructure procurement approaches under multi-contract models (supply-only / full service, supply & install).\nLead commercial negotiations with global OEMs covering pricing, delivery schedules, warranties, and performance guarantees\nIdentify, evaluate, and manage strategic suppliers across Solar PV, BESS, and HV equipment\nDevelop and maintain long-term supplier relationships to ensure supply security and competitiveness\nLead contracting for supply agreements, service agreements, and relevant framework agreements\nCoordinate with Legal and Engineering teams on risk allocation, LDs, technical guarantees, and contract interfaces\nAnalyze project cost structures and drive cost optimization across key packages\nMonitor market trends, supply chain dynamics, lead times, and pricing benchmarks\nIdentify and manage procurement risks including delivery risk, supplier concentration, and regulatory exposure\nSupport investment processes including input into FID decisions and procurement strategies\nAct as procurement lead for assigned projects, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field\n6-10+ years of experience in procurement, commercial, or contract management roles\nProven experience in CAPEX procurement within renewable energy\nExperience in Solar PV, BESS, or HV procurement is strongly preferred\nDemonstrated ability to lead complex sourcing and negotiations for high-value packages\nStrong commercial acumen with experience in risk allocation and contract structuring\nWorking understanding of PV, BESS, and/or HV systems\n\nKey Competencies\nStructured, analytical, and detail-oriented\nStrong stakeholder management and communications skills\nAbility to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment\nCommercial judgment and risk-based decision-making\nAbility to balance cost optimization with long-term asset performance\nKey Contact\nQuestions about this role?
