It’s time to look at Taylor.\nYour Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for an Ink Technician at its Fresno, CA Precision Press facility. The position is responsible for coordinating ink requirements, mixing ink, maintaining ink inventory and reordering ink and related supplies as needed.\nWork Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.\nYour Responsibilities:\nCoordinate ink requirements according to production needs.\nMix inks according to procedures and formulas.\nMaintain ink inventories and related supplies.\nComplete paperwork and maintain accurate records.\nCross train/perform other positions within the Pre-Press Department.\nPrioritize work schedule as necessary to minimize production down time.\nFollow safety procedures.\nYour Shift:\n2nd shift, 2:00pm-10:30pm, Monday - Friday\nYou Must Have:\n1+ years of prior press exposure\nGood verbal communication skills are required to interact with vendors and internal staff\nDecision making skills based on production needs\nAbility to visually recognize colors and formulate inks\nKnowledge of press room and order flow\nMath skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions\nAbility to establish/maintain positive working relationships with co-workers\nAbility to lift 45 pounds several times daily\nWe Would Also Prefer:\nPrefer operating knowledge of flexographic label press \nThe anticipated salary range for this position is $18 - $22 per hour. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
