It's time to look at Taylor.\nYour Opportunity: Taylor Visual Impressions, a division of Taylor Corporation, is seeking an experienced and proactive Inventory Control Team Lead to join our operations team in Duluth, GA.\nThis role serves as the day-to-day leader of the inventory function, ensuring inventory accuracy, material availability, and efficient inventory processes throughout the facility. The Inventory Control Team Lead will partner closely with warehouse, production, purchasing, and operations teams to drive accountability, resolve inventory issues, and improve overall operational performance.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong inventory management experience with leadership skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the initiative to identify opportunities, solve problems, and influence positive change. This individual will serve as the facility's inventory subject matter expert and play a critical role in establishing best practices that support operational excellence and customer success.\nWork Authorization\nTo be considered for this opportunity, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.\nSchedule\n1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM\nYour Responsibilities:\nLead day-to-day inventory control activities across the facility to ensure inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.\nServe as the primary point of contact for inventory-related questions, discrepancies, and process improvements.\nCoordinate and prioritize inventory activities, including cycle counts, audits, inventory adjustments, and reconciliations.\nMonitor inventory levels and material flow to support production schedules and customer commitments.\nInvestigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective actions.\nDrive accountability for inventory accuracy throughout warehouse and production operations.\nTrain, mentor, and provide guidance to inventory team members and warehouse personnel on inventory best practices.\nPartner with receiving, shipping, production, and purchasing teams to resolve inventory and material flow issues.\nMaintain accurate inventory records and ensure data integrity within ERP and warehouse management systems.\nGenerate, analyze, and communicate inventory metrics, trends, and key performance indicators.\nIdentify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, efficiency, and overall warehouse performance.\nDevelop, document, and maintain inventory-related standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training materials.\nSupport leadership in establishing inventory control standards and best practices.\nLead continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, material flow, and process efficiency.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and safety requirements.\nAct as the facility subject matter expert for inventory-related processes and systems.\nSafely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and other material handling equipment as needed.\nYou Must Have:\n5+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain, or a related field.\nPrevious experience leading, coordinating, training, mentoring, or directing the work of others in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.\nExperience working with inventory management systems, ERP systems, or warehouse management systems.\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with inventory reporting and analysis.\nProven ability to investigate inventory discrepancies and identify root causes.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nDemonstrated ability to build productive working relationships across departments.\nAbility to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.\nAbility to safely operate warehouse equipment or willingness to become certified.\nRequirements Within This Position:\nFrequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the facility.\nRegularly lift, push, pull, and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.\nRegularly operate warehouse equipment and computer systems.\nWe Would Also Prefer:\nAssociate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.\nPrior Team Lead, Inventory Lead, Lead Associate, Warehouse Lead, or Supervisory experience.\nExperience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, D365, NetSuite, Alliance, or similar platforms.\nExperience in a manufacturing, printing, distribution, or production environment.\nKnowledge of cycle counting programs, inventory auditing practices, and inventory controls.\nExperience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or related methodologies.\nExperience developing procedures, training materials, or process documentation.\nExperience tracking and reporting inventory performance metrics and KPIs.\nAbout Taylor Corporation\nOne of the largest graphics communications firms in North America, Taylor's family of companies provide a diverse set of products, services, and technologies addressing the toughest communication challenges.
