It’s time to look at Taylor.\nYour Opportunity:\nTaylor DM Brands, formerly known as Amsterdam Printing, is looking for an Equipment Operator to join the team in Amsterdam, NY.\nWork Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.\nYour Shift: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm\nYour Responsibilities:\nPrepare, operate and adjust assigned machinery to specifications per customer work order\n\nMaintain a clean and safe work area and prepare for the next user\n\nProduce product to specifications by following all processes and procedures\n\nPerforms routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output\n\nVisually inspect product throughout run for quality\n\nCoordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary, reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates\n\nMaintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment.\n\nYou Must Have:\nAbility to set adjust machinery to required tolerances\n\nHigh degree of mechanical ability\n\nBasic math skills & ability to read measurements with a ruler\n\nGood reading ability.\n\nRequirements within this position:\nAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand\n\nRegularly required to remain in a stationary position\n\nConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials\n\nFrequently required to move inside the facility\n\nRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)\n\nWe Would Also Prefer:\n1 year experience in production or as an equipment operator\n\nGood color discernment\n\nThe anticipated hourly pay rate for this position is $16.00 per hour. The actual hourly pay rate offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
