Your Shift: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 7:00am- 3:30pm with overtime/weekends as required
Your Opportunity:
Taylor Corporation is looking for an advanced Order Picker to run a turret truck at the Jeffersonville, IN facility.
Work Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
Your Responsibilities:
- Ensures accuracy of picking customer orders
- Perform quality checks
- Verifies stock availability and stock shelves
- Repackage orders
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Cleans and maintains a safe working environment
- Maintains related records
You Must Have:
- Must be able to use a ring scanner, manual equipment and powered material handling equipment (i.e. order picker or lift)
- Must be willing to train on and run a Turret Truck and be comfortable with heights up to 35'
- Must be able to read and count accurately and do simple math
- Detail oriented
- Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment where you maintain and enhance department goals
- Effectively communicate and work in a team environment
- Self-motivated and able to multi task
- Certifications required for use of powered equipment
Requirements Within This Position:
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
- Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
- Frequently required to move inside the facility
- Regularly move up to 50+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)
We Would Also Prefer:
- More than 2 years' experience in Pick/Packing
