It’s time to look at Taylor.\nYour Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Press / Print Operating Technician to join our team in Duluth, GA.\nWork Authorization: To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.\nYour Responsibilities:\nCarry out detailed instructions from job orders accurately and precisely. Identify possible errors or problems and take prompt action to correct them.\nSet up and adjust press equipment for job runs to meet specifications.\nMonitor product quality during job runs. Check detail against specifications and take action to correct any issues.\nMonitor equipment during job runs. Remain alert to mechanical problems and refer issues to maintenance as needed.\nInitiate the startup and running of jobs in keeping with the production schedule.\nPerform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep.\nMeet standards for output, waste, and spoilage.\nFollow all safety guidelines and keep the workspace clean and organized for efficient shift changeovers.\nComplete related logs and paperwork accurately.\nYour Shift: Monday - Thursday | 2pm - 12:30am\nYou Must Have:\nMechanical and technical aptitude\nBasic math skills, including the ability to read a ruler and calculate label dimensions for stock optimization\nAbility to operate equipment and obtain proficiency as measured through production and quality standards\nAbility to understand verbal and written work instructions\nAbility to communicate professionally\nStrong attention to detail\nRequirements Within This Position:\nAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand\nRegularly required to remain in a stationary position\nConstantly required to operate machinery and handle products, including print materials\nFrequently required to move throughout the facility\nAbility to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 25+ pounds\nWe Would Also Prefer:\nAbility to distinguish colors\nExperience in a production environment\n About Taylor Corporation\nOne of the largest graphics communications firms in North America, Taylor’s family of companies provide a diverse set of products, services, and technologies addressing the toughest communication challenges.
