It’s time to look at Taylor.\nYour Opportunity: Taylor is seeking Press Print Operating Technician IV; you will be responsible for responsible for managing and optimizing advanced printing operations. This position requires extensive knowledge of printing technologies, the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, and the skills to mentor and lead a team of technicians while ensuring high-quality output and efficiency.\nWork Authorization: To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.\nYour Responsibilities:\nOversee the setup, operation, and maintenance of multiple types of printing presses, ensuring optimal production efficiency and quality. \nDevelop and implement production schedules, monitoring workflow to meet deadlines and customer expectations. \nReviews proposed production schedule and suggests improvements to productivity based on construction of upcoming work. \nAnalyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic changes to enhance performance. \nEstablish and maintain rigorous quality control standards, conducting in-depth inspections and assessments throughout the printing process. \nCollaborate with quality assurance teams to address defects and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. \nPrepare detailed reports on quality issues and production outcomes for management review. \nLead training programs for new and existing staff on advanced printing techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols. \nMentor junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development within the team. \nPerform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on complex printing machinery, coordinating with maintenance teams for any major issues. \nMaintain comprehensive documentation of equipment maintenance, production activities, and incident reports. \nEnsure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards, promoting a safe work environment. \nConduct regular safety audits and training sessions to reinforce safety practices among team members. \nWork closely with cross-functional teams, including prepress, design, and logistics, to enhance communication and streamline processes. \nProvide strategic insights and recommendations for technology investments and process innovations to enhance overall operational effectiveness. \nMaintain accurate data entry for time keeping, job costing, and MRP job tracking. \nActing SME coordinating with leadership and sales team to provide suggestions for incoming or prospective customer orders. \nYour Shift: 6:00pm - 6:00am Sunday through Tuesday\nRequirements Within This Position:\nAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand\nRegularly required to remain in a stationary position\nConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials\nFrequently required to move inside the facility\nRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)\nYou Must Have:\nA technical degree or certification in printing technology or a related field is preferred. \nIn-depth knowledge of various printing techniques, equipment, and materials. \nProven ability to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions. \nRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry) \nWillingness to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks. \nThe anticipated hourly rate for this position is $39.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
