In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain production equipment while ensuring quality standards, safety requirements, and production schedules are met.\nWork Authorization:\nTo be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.\nYour Responsibilities:\nSet up and operate printing and production equipment according to job specifications and company quality standards\nOperate assigned equipment, which may include palletizers, surface mount equipment, one- and two-color printers, packaging machines, folding equipment, programmable cutters, and multicolor photocopy equipment using ink or toner\nPerform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance to support reliable operation and optimal output\nPrepare inks to achieve proper color and consistency when applicable\nVerify paper type, size, color, and quantity before production\nCheck printing plates for correct format when applicable\nInspect printed materials and finished products throughout production to ensure quality standards are met\nAdjust equipment settings to maintain required tolerances and product specifications\nCoordinate with the Production Team to prioritize jobs and adjust workflow as needed to meet changing deadlines\nFollow all safety procedures and equipment operating requirements\nYour Shift:\n2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM-1:00 AM\nYou Must Have:\nAbility to adjust equipment mechanisms to required tolerances\nMathematical skills and attention to detail\nMechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues\nAbility to read and understand job instructions\nRequirements Within This Position:\nAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand\nRegularly required to remain in a stationary position\nConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials\nFrequently required to move inside the facility\nRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)\nWe Would Also Prefer:\nHigh school diploma or GED\nAbility to work with very close tolerances\nAbility to communicate effectively with team members\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills\nGood color discernment\nAbout Taylor Corporation\nOne of the largest print and communications firms in North America, Taylor’s family of companies provides a diverse set of products, services and technologies that address the toughest business challenges.
