It’s time to look at Taylor.\nYour Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Press / Print Operating Technician I to join our production team. In this role, you will set up, operate, and monitor printing equipment to ensure customer orders are produced accurately, efficiently, and according to quality standards.\nWork Authorization:\nTo be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.\nYour Responsibilities:\nRead and follow detailed job orders, identify potential errors, and take corrective action as needed\nSet up and adjust printing presses and production equipment according to job specifications\nOperate assigned equipment, which may include high-speed multicolor digital printing equipment with finishing capabilities and four-color or greater printing presses with finishing equipment\nMonitor print quality throughout production runs and make adjustments to ensure customer specifications are met\nMonitor equipment performance, identify mechanical issues, and notify maintenance when necessary\nStart and operate production jobs according to established schedules and priorities\nPerform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep to support reliable operation\nMeet production standards for output, waste, and spoilage\nFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area to support efficient shift changeovers\nComplete production logs, job documentation, and related paperwork accurately\n\nYour Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm\nYou Must Have:\nMechanical and technical aptitude\nBasic math skills, including the ability to read a ruler and calculate label dimensions for stock optimization\nAbility to operate equipment to meet established production and quality standards\nAbility to understand and follow verbal and written work instructions\nAbility to communicate professionally with team members and supervisors\nAttention to detail and commitment to quality\nRequirements Within This Position:\nAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand\nRegularly required to remain in a stationary position\nConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials\nFrequently required to move inside the facility\nRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)\nWe Would Also Prefer:\nAbility to distinguish colors\nExperience in a production-related environment\nAbout Taylor Corporation\nOne of the largest print and communications firms in North America, Taylor’s family of companies provides a diverse set of products, services and technologies that address the toughest business challenges.
