It’s time to look at Taylor.\n\nYour Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Press / Print Operating Technician to join our team!\nWork Authorization: To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.\nYour Responsibilities:\nCarry out accurately and precisely detailed instructions from job orders. Identify possible errors or problems and take prompt action to correct.\nSet up/adjust press for job runs to meet specifications.\nMonitor product for quality during job runs. Check preciseness of detail against specifications. Take action to correct any problems.\nMonitor equipment during job runs. Remain alert to mechanical problems and refer as necessary to maintenance.\nInitiate the start up and running of jobs in keeping with production schedule.\nPerform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep.\nMeet standards for output, waste, and spoilage.\nAdhere to all safety guidelines. Keep workspace clean and organized for efficiency in shift changeovers.\nComplete with accuracy related logs and paperwork. Your Shift:\n7:00pm - 7:00am 2/2/3 schedule with alternating weekends\nYou Must Have:\nMechanical and technical skills/aptitude\nBasic math skills to read ruler and calculate label dimensions for stock optimization\nAbility to operate equipment to obtain proficiency as measured through production and quality standards\nAbility to understand verbal and written instructions for work orders\nAbility to communicate professionally\nStrong attention to detail\n Requirements Within This Position:\nAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand\nRegularly required to remain in a stationary position\nConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials\nFrequently required to move inside the facility\nRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)\nWe Would Also Prefer:\nAbility to distinguish colors\nExperience in a production related environment\n\nAbout Taylor Corporation\nOne of the largest print and communications firms in North America, Taylor’s family of companies provides a diverse set of products, services and technologies that address the toughest business challenges.
