It’s time to look at Taylor.\nYour Opportunity: Taylor's Print & Packaging Group, a division of Taylor Corporation, is seeking a mid-level Product Engineer to independently lead and contribute to the ideation, design, development, and optimization of products such as Prepaid Cards, Packaging, and Lenticular Printing. This hands-on role involves refining product designs, conducting testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, meet customer needs, and ensure high standards of performance, quality, and cost throughout the product lifecycle. Candidates must be open to going onsite to our Fridley location 5 days a week.\nWork Authorization: \nTo be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.\nYour Responsibilities:\nDevelop and improve product designs based on customer needs, performance targets, andmanufacturability considerations\nAnalyze technical data and performance results to inform design enhancements\nCreate prototypes and perform validation testing to support design decisions\nWork closely with manufacturing, quality, and marketing teams to ensure seamless productintroductions\nIdentify and address technical challenges during the development lifecycle\nPrepare technical documentation including drawings, test plans, and compliance records\nContribute ideas for product innovation and process improvement\nResearch materials and vendors to meet project needs\nYou Must Have:\n2+ years of experience in Product Development or a related Engineering role\n2+ years experience with print and or packaging products\nProficiency in CAD software and a good understanding of engineering tools and practices\nAn analytical mindset with solid problem-solving abilities\nAbility to manage tasks with some supervision and collaborate effectively across teams\nWe Would Also Prefer:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering\nExperience with RFID, DCIC, Glues and substrates\nThe anticipated annual salary range for this position is $75,000 - $105,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
