It’s time to look at Taylor.\nYour Opportunity: Taylor Print & Visual Impressions is looking for a Production Control Coordinator to join our team in Duluth, GA. In this role, you will help keep production orders moving through the manufacturing process by organizing, tracking, and distributing work to the appropriate departments.\nYou'll work with Production Control, Manufacturing, Inventory, Customer Service, and Operations to resolve issues, track urgent orders, and help keep production on schedule. This position combines administrative coordination with regular movement throughout the production facility.\nWork Authorization:\nTo be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.\nYour Responsibilities:\nSort, organize, and distribute production orders generated from automated printing systems across multiple customer workstreams\nGenerate SO75 Inventory Release Forms in Alliance and scan orders through PJM to the appropriate press and production schedule\nProcess and route production orders to the correct manufacturing areas for scheduling and production\nOrganize Response Element (RE) orders, maintain Kanban holders, and ensure orders are properly released and scanned\nDeliver production orders and related documentation to printing, mailing, finishing, and other designated departments\nMonitor rush orders, track missing jobs, and help ensure work moves through production according to schedule\nInvestigate production delays, locate missing orders, and assist with resolving workflow issues\nCorrect missed or inaccurate scans to maintain order tracking and production accuracy\nCommunicate with Production Control, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Inventory, and Operations regarding job status and production priorities\nMaintain the Kanban system by removing completed orders and returning holders for reuse\nWork with Inventory to address material shortages, delayed receipts, out-of-stock items, and special-order concerns\nProvide administrative and production floor support to Production Control leadership and supervisors\nYour Shift: 1st Shift: 6:00 AM-3:00 PM, Monday - Friday\nYou Must Have:\nOrganizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment\nAbility to prioritize work, respond to urgent requests, and maintain accuracy\nEffective verbal and written communication skills\nProblem-solving skills and attention to detail\nBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications\nAbility to follow established procedures and work independently or collaboratively across departments\nRequirements Within This Position:\nAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand\nRegularly required to remain in a stationary position\nConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials\nFrequently required to move inside the facility\nRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)\nWe Would Also Prefer:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nExperience in manufacturing, printing, production scheduling, or production control\nExperience using ERP/MIS systems or production workflow software, including Alliance or PJM\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel\nAbout Taylor Corporation\nOne of the largest print and communications firms in North America, Taylor’s family of companies provides a diverse set of products, services and technologies that address the toughest business challenges.
