This position is responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules to ensure materials and jobs flow efficiently through the manufacturing process and customer delivery requirements are met.\nWork Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.\nYour Responsibilities:\nMonitor incoming print orders through the production scheduling system.\nReview and group similar orders into efficient production batches.\nCoordinate production batches based on order volume, product requirements, priorities, and shipping needs.\nSend completed batch information to the plate-processing equipment.\nRetrieve completed plates and deliver them to the press area.\nCommunicate with the press operator and production team regarding order status and priorities.\nMonitor workflow throughout the day and adjust priorities when urgent orders or production issues arise.\nReview order information carefully to ensure work is complete and accurate before it moves into production.\nAssist with reviewing and correcting work-order travelers after completing training.\nProvide scheduling updates and communicate potential delays or production concerns.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nYour Shift: Monday through Thursday | 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.\nYou Must Have:\nStrong computer skills and the ability to learn production software and internal systems.\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nAbility to monitor multiple orders and priorities throughout the day.\nAbility to recognize problems, review available information, and determine an appropriate next step.\nClear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with production employees.\nAbility to remain organized and focused during temporary periods of increased production pressure.\nComfort working primarily at a computer for most of the shift.\nWe Would Also Prefer:\nPrevious experience in production scheduling, order processing, print production, manufacturing, or a related environment.\nExperience using ERP, order-management, or production-management systems.\nFamiliarity with Excel, Oracle, Horizon, Paragon, or similar systems.\nRequirements Within This Position:\nAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.\nRegularly required to remain in a stationary position while working at a computer.\nFrequently required to move throughout the facility to coordinate work and deliver production materials.\nRegularly move up to 25 pounds by lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying.\nCompensation:\nThe anticipated hourly range for this position is $22. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
