In this role, you will inspect printed materials, verify customer specifications, and help ensure finished products meet quality standards before shipment.\nWork Authorization:\nTo be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.\nYour Responsibilities:\nInspect finished products, including statements and letters, to verify accuracy against customer instructions and production standards\nExamine materials and products for compliance with manufacturing specifications, quality standards, and established tolerances\nPerform visual inspections and measurements using rulers and other measuring instruments\nIdentify defects, errors, or damaged materials and reject products that do not meet quality requirements\nReturn products for rework when necessary and complete documentation to verify corrections\nCommunicate quality issues to operators and supervisors, explaining discrepancies between finished products and customer specifications\nMove between production equipment and work areas to inspect jobs and verify accuracy throughout the production process\nReport quality concerns and recurring issues to senior management promptly\nEnter inspection results and other required information into the production database\nLearn production processes and understand how quality assurance supports each stage of production\nCross-train in other departments, including postal, shipping, and hand table operations\nMaintain a safe and organized work environment by following company procedures and safety requirements\nYour Shift:\nMonday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM\nYou Must Have:\nAttention to detail and ability to identify quality defects\nBasic measuring skills, including the ability to read a ruler and use other measuring devices\nBasic problem-solving skills\nBasic computer skills, including opening, saving, and printing files and entering data\nAbility to work extended hours and weekends based on production schedules\nEffective written and verbal communication skills in English\nRequirements Within This Position:\nAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand\nRegularly required to remain in a stationary position\nConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials\nFrequently required to move inside the facility\nRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)\nWe Would Also Prefer:\nPrevious experience in the printing industry or a fast-paced, high-volume production environment\nAbout Taylor Corporation\nOne of the largest print and communications firms in North America, Taylor’s family of companies provides a diverse set of products, services and technologies that address the toughest business challenges.
