You'll own projects from concept development through to final files, help guide mid-level designers and freelancers, and keep the work moving with a high standard of craft.\nThis role is ideal for a strong, hands-on designer who is ready to take more creative ownership, and who is already using AI tools to explore more ideas, work faster and bring fresh thinking to the team.\nWork Authorization: \nTo be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.\nKEY TRAITS\n360 Design Thinker: builds ideas that translate seamlessly from packaging to merchandising, campaigns and social.\nConcept-to-Completion Owner: takes projects from first sketch to final, production-ready files.\nAI-Fluent Creative: uses AI tools daily for ideation, mood boards, concept exploration and efficiency.\nElevated Craft: brings a sharp eye for typography, layout, color and finish to every detail.\nTeam Player and Emerging Leader: supports the Senior Art Director and helps guide mid-level designers.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nPartner with the VP Creative & Senior Art Director to develop concepts and design across 360 creative programs: packaging, merchandising and retail displays, campaigns, social content and brand identity.\nOwn projects from concept development through design refinement and final file preparation.\nUse AI tools to accelerate ideation, mood and concept development, visual exploration and presentation, and share new techniques with the team.\nBuild cohesive brand systems that extend consistently across every touchpoint.\nHelp guide and review the work of Mid-Level Designers and freelance partners.\nPrepare client presentations, including 2D renderings, comps and mockups.\nEnsure designs are production-ready, partnering with the production team on specifications, mechanicals and DTOs.\nWork closely with Project Managers to deliver on time and within budget.\nContribute ideas to pitches, credentials and internal thought-leadership content.\nStay current on design, beauty, retail and technology trends, including emerging AI tools.\nSKILLS & EXPERTISE\nStrong branding, packaging and conceptual design skills with a portfolio that shows 360 range.\nExpert user of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat).\nStrong knowledge of packaging design, printing, materials, finishes and structure.\nSolid 2D rendering and retouching skills; 3D rendering experience is a plus.\nRequired: working knowledge of AI creative tools (e.g., Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, Runway) and how to use them in a professional design workflow.\nDemonstrated ability to be good beyond the brief, consistently taking work to the next level.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting work.\nHighly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.\nProficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).\nREQUIREMENTS\nBFA or BS in Graphic Design, Packaging Design or a related field.\n5-7 years of experience in an agency or in-house creative studio.\nBeauty experience strongly preferred; fashion, spirits, lifestyle or CPG experience a plus.\nExperience designing across packaging, merchandising and campaign work.\nRequired: demonstrated use of AI tools in a creative workflow.\nA portfolio showcasing innovative, well-crafted work across multiple touchpoints.\nThe anticipated annual salary range for this position is $70k-$90k. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
