It’s time to look at Taylor.\nYour Opportunity:\nTaylor DM Brands islooking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join the team in Amsterdam, NY.\nWork Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.\nYour Shift: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pmwith overtime as required (possible nights/weekends)\nYour Responsibilities:\nPerforms the physical and/or administrative duties involved in the functions pertaining to the shipping, handling, receiving, storing, counting, packaging and distributing of equipment, materials, merchandise, and similar items\n\nInspects and verifies incoming goods against invoices or other documents, records shortages and rejects damaged goods and enters into the inventory control system\n\nPut away and manage raw and finished goods inventory in the warehouse\n\nPull product from the warehouse to deliver to the production floor\n\nPick, wrap and pack products in boxes, cartons, and other containers prior to final packing for shipment and affixes identifying information to the packages\n\nUse various shipping systems for FedEx, UPS, and USPS\n\nAdjust to a fast-paced and quickly changing environment\n\nAssist in monthly inventory cycle counting\n\nMay operate a forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods\n\nPerform other warehouse and shipping duties as needed\n\nAssembles orders and prepares goods for shipment\n\nRecords shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability\n\nReceives and unpacks materials and supplies\n\nReports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes\n\nCompletes shipping and receiving reports.\n\nYou Must Have:\nBasic computer and math skills\n\nAbility to work independently, problem-solving as needed\n\nAbility to operate or be trained on material handling equipment\n\nAbility to be comfortable with heights up to 35'\n\nRequirements Within This Position:\nAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand\n\nMust be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English\n\nRegularly required to remain in a stationary position\n\nConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials\n\nFrequently required to move inside the facility\n\nRegularly move up to 50+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)\n\nWe Would Also Prefer:\nKnowledge of operations of material handling equipment such as sit-down forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and reach trucks\n\nThe anticipated hourly range for this position is $18.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
