It’s time to look at Taylor.\nYour Opportunity:\nTaylor Corporation is looking for a Temporary Equipment Operator to join our team. This role plays an important part in helping our production team meet customer needs and deadlines. You’ll set up, operate, and maintain equipment to keep things running smoothly and ensure our products meet high-quality standards.\nYour Responsibilities:\nPrepare and operate printing press equipment in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards.\nPerform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on equipment to keep it running efficiently.\nMix and prepare inks to achieve the proper color and consistency.\nCheck paper for type, size, color, and quantity before each job.\nInspect printing plates and make sure the format is correct.\nMonitor production runs for quality and consistency throughout the process.\nWork closely with your production team to prioritize jobs and adjust as needed to meet deadlines.\nKeep your work area organized and maintain a strong focus on safety.\nYour Shift:\nMonday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.\nYou Must Have:\nMechanical ability and interest in working with production equipment.\nStrong attention to detail and good math skills.\nAbility to set and adjust mechanisms to the required tolerances.\nSolid reading and comprehension skills for following work instructions and safety procedures.\nRequirements Within This Position:\nAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.\nRegularly required to remain in a stationary position.\nConstantly operates machinery and handles printed materials.\nFrequently required to move throughout the facility.\nRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull, and/or carry).\nWe Would Also Prefer:\nExperience working with production or printing equipment.\nAbility to work with very close tolerances.\nStrong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.\nGood color discernment and attention to fine details.\nAbout Taylor Corporation\nOne of the largest graphic communications firms in North America, Taylor’s family of companies provides a diverse set of products, services, and technologies addressing the toughest communication challenges.
