The position offers a varied workload spanning compliance monitoring, quality management, regulatory compliance, training, reporting, and policy development.\nYou will work closely with stakeholders across both legal and business services teams, helping to promote best practice, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with regulatory and professional obligations.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the ongoing maintenance and development of the firm’s quality management and compliance framework.\nAssist with regulatory compliance projects and governance initiatives.\nConduct file reviews, audits, and compliance monitoring activities.\nSupport external accreditation processes and participate in internal and external audits.\nAssist with the preparation and updating of policies, procedures, and governance documentation.\nMonitor compliance developments and regulatory updates, producing internal communications and alerts.\nAttend stakeholder meetings and help communicate governance and risk matters across the business.\nAssist with the preparation of committee papers, management reports, and compliance documentation.\nSupport insurance-related processes, including claims tracking and annual insurance renewals.\nCarry out compliance research to support policy development and risk management initiatives.\nDeliver compliance training and awareness sessions to colleagues across the organisation.\nCollaborate with teams across the business to promote a positive risk and compliance culture.\nAbout You\nWe are interested in speaking with candidates who possess:\nExperience within a Risk & Compliance, Governance, or Regulatory role, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.\nKnowledge of AML regulations, GDPR, conflicts management, and legal regulatory requirements.\nAn understanding of risk management principles and current compliance trends.\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\nExcellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.\nStrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.\nA high level of attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.\nA proactive, team-oriented approach and a willingness to contribute new ideas and process improvements.\nDegree-level education or equivalent professional experience.\nPlease note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide.
