You will work closely with lawyers and business services teams, providing guidance on AML matters, reviewing client onboarding processes, and helping to maintain best practice across the business.\nThis position is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in legal risk and compliance while gaining exposure to a broad range of regulatory and governance matters.\nKey Responsibilities\nReview client and matter files to ensure compliance with client onboarding and customer due diligence requirements.\nSupport the firm’s ongoing AML monitoring programme and assist in meeting regulatory obligations.\nRespond to AML and compliance queries from legal and business services teams, escalating complex issues where appropriate.\nConduct research and provide support on complex AML and financial crime matters.\nIdentify potential compliance risks and communicate findings to senior compliance stakeholders.\nAssist with monitoring trends, emerging risks, and regulatory developments.\nProvide updates and reports on compliance activity and identified risk areas.\nSupport the development of compliance knowledge and best practice across the business through guidance and training.\nWork closely with internal stakeholders to ensure a consistent and commercially focused approach to compliance.\nAbout You\nWe are interested in speaking with candidates who have:\nExperience within a Risk & Compliance, AML, Financial Crime, or Client Onboarding role, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.\nStrong knowledge of AML regulations and customer due diligence requirements.\nExcellent analytical and investigative skills with strong attention to detail.\nThe ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.\nA proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach.\nGood Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.\nA relevant degree or equivalent professional experience would be advantageous.\nPlease note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide.
