The practice is heavily engaged in synthetic securitisation, Significant Risk Transfer (SRT), and regulatory capital transactions for international banks and financial sponsors.\nThe role encompasses:\nAdvising on funded and unfunded synthetic securitisations and portfolio risk transfer structures\nStructuring and executing balance sheet optimisation transactions, including capital relief trades and regulatory-driven solutions\nNegotiating complex documentation covering regulatory capital, credit-linked instruments, and investor arrangements\nCollaboration with colleagues in tax, regulatory, and structured finance teams to deliver integrated, multi-disciplinary advice\nAdvising on derivative overlays and hedging solutions associated with securitisation transactions\nThe nature of the work is predominantly cross-border, requiring exposure to multi-jurisdictional issues and direct interaction with senior client stakeholders.
