continuous professional development and support the advancement of academic and institutional excellence.\n\nAssist in building and maintaining linkages with external organisations, industry partners, and professional bodies to strengthen collaboration and promote the University’s academic profile.\n\nREQUIREMENTS\nPhDin Mechatronics Engineeringfrom a recognised university.\n\nMinimum of five (5) yearsof relevant experience in teaching, research, and/or industry practice, preferably within a higher education environment.\n\nStrong publication recordwith 5-7 indexed journal publications (ISI / Scopus Q1 and Q2)within the last five (5) years.\n\nProven ability to secure external research grantsas Principal Investigator, with a cumulative value of RM150,000-RM200,000.\n\nScopus h-index of at least 8.\n\nSuccessfully supervised and graduated at least two (2) PhD students by Research as the main supervisor.\n\nProven experience in curriculum design, teaching innovation, and pedagogical excellence.\n\nEvidence of mentoring and coaching colleagues and students to achieve academic excellence.\n\nSkilled in developing and applying effective teaching methodologies, including the use of digital and IT technologies.\n\nActive involvement in research projects, consultancy, or professional practice with evidence of scholarly or industry-relevant outputs.\n\nCommitment to continuous professional development and engagement with relevant professional or academic
