About the role :
We're seeking two experienced data engineers to architect the data backbone connecting ERP, planning, HR, and file-based sources into Databricks and Microsoft Fabric. You will build agentic ingestion workflows that assist with schema detection, mapping, and anomaly checks, while ensuring data quality, lineage, and reconciliation back to the general ledger.
Responsibilities :
- Build ingestion pipelines from ERP, planning, HR and file-based sources into Databricks, following a bronze/silver/gold layout.
- Design agentic ingestion workflows where agents help with schema detection, mapping suggestions and anomaly checks.
- Build and maintain MCP servers and connections so agents and tools can access governed data securely.
- Model the data as star schemas and publish to Fabric.
- Put data quality checks in place, including reconciliation back to the general ledger, lineage and version history for plan and estimate data.
Required skills and experience :
- 7+ years in data engineering, with at least 3 years hands-on in Databricks (PySpark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows).
- Has integrated Databricks with Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, shortcuts, lakehouses).
- Has built LLM agents and MCP servers in Python in a real project.
- Strong SQL and dimensional modelling, including slowly changing dimensions.
- Finance or FP&A data background is a strong plus.
