Connect to what matters.\nThe Opportunity\nOur Corporate Services Business Planning & Cost Management team is looking to add a Financial Analyst in Calgary to support financial planning, analysis and decision-making across Corporate Services functions.\nWe are seeking an experienced and collaborative finance professional who looks beyond routine reporting to identify financial risks, opportunities and cost optimization initiatives. You will partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to understand cost drivers, challenge assumptions, develop actionable recommendations and support informed operational and strategic decisions.\nWhat you’ll do\nLead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities\nPartner with business leaders to provide financial insights and decision support\nAnalyze workforce and operating costs, identifying risks, opportunities, and cost drivers\nDevelop financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses\nPrepare executive reporting, forecasts, and variance analysis\nCoordinate planning processes and ensure alignment with corporate objectives\nDrive continuous improvement in financial reporting, analytics, and business performance\nMinimum Qualifications\n6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, business partnering, or related finance roles\nDegree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or related field\nCPA, CFA, or equivalent professional designation\nPreferred Qualifications\n8-10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, business partnering, or related finance roles\nStrong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, business cases, and scenario analysis\nAdvanced analytical, financial modeling, business case development and Excel skills\nProven ability to influence stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and translate insights into business actions\nExcellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment\nExperience partnering with senior leaders to drive strategic and operational decisions\nProven track record identifying value creation, cost optimization, and performance improvement opportunities\nExperience with SAP, Power BI, and data-driven decision support\nStrong ability to influence stakeholders and lead change across functions\nTo remain competitive, support our high-performance culture and allow for more flexibility in the way we work, we offer a hybrid work model and flexible dress code for our eligible office-based workforce in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. #LI-Hybrid\nAbout our business\nWe are a leader in North American energy infrastructure, spanning Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.
