Connect to what matters.\nThe Opportunity\nThis full working-level Control Center position will independently follow established methods, Control Room Management Plan (CRM) and procedures to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the U.S. Pipeline systems.\nWhat you’ll do\nWill ensure the safe and efficient operations of compressor stations, meter stations and pipeline systems at all times through the execution of daily operating plans\nWill identify, analyze and take appropriate action to mitigate abnormal operating conditions at compressor stations, meter stations and pipeline systems\nWill monitor and respond to alarms as per established protocol\nWill process customer nominations and imbalances in a non-discriminatory manner\nWill follow Document Standard for documenting all relevant operational information during the shift and Responsibility Transfer Procedure to communicate all operationally significant information during shift change\nWill assist in the troubleshooting of various operating tools used in the Control Center\nMinimum Qualifications\nMust have a high school diploma-Three years of natural gas industry experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree.\nMust have a working-level knowledge of gas hydraulics and compressors\nMust obtain D.O.T. Operator Qualification certification through the successful completion of the Company's testing and evaluation program within the prescribed timeframe\nMust be able to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays\nMust be conscientious, attentive and able to work well with others in a team environment\nMust possess effective communication skills and the ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations\nMust possess strong mathematical, analytical and computer skills\nMust be proficient in most Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word and Outlook \nPreferred Qualifications\nCollege degree or technical school diploma is preferred\n*This position requires candidates to:\nHave and maintain a valid driver’s license\nProvide a driver’s abstract for review\nThis position requires occasional travel and the ability to operate out of either of our backup locations in Houston and Bryan, TX.\nSuccessfully complete a pre-employment medical screening, including drug and alcohol testing\nAbout our business\nWe are a leader in North American energy infrastructure, spanning Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.
