Connect to what matters.\n\nThe Opportunity\nThe Pipeline Integrity Engineer/Technologist completes analysis of Inline Inspection data for corrosion threats on gas transmission pipelines and supports integrity program planning, pipeline failure investigation, excavation programs, procedure development and audits.\nWhat you'll do\nReview, analyze, and conduct pipeline anomaly analysis utilizing direct assessment, in-line inspection, pressure test, and other assessment data to propose remedial or follow up actions\nPerform advanced quantitative risk analysis (likelihood of failure, consequence modeling, corrosion growth, etc.)\nPerform Engineering Assessments to determine the continued safe operation of the pipeline\nDevelop and support excavation programs\nProvide technical support to internal stakeholders as required\nSupport or lead audit program related to corrosion threats, including interacting with regulatory agencies \nAssist internal response to pipeline failures and root cause investigations\nSupport project development, planning, and budget programs\nAssist the team in tracking and completion of work related to the expedited ECA program\nOther tasks as required.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution\nMust be registered, or eligible for registration in the future, as a professional member with APEGA (Calgary candidates only) \n4+ years of related experience\nExperience in pipeline integrity with gas transmission pipeline systems\nEvidence of excellent analytical and decision-making skills\nProven ability to work and contribute in a team environment, as well as ability to maintain individual accountability and decision making with technical justification\nPreferred Qualifications\nSelf-motivated individual with excellent work ethics and strong desire to learn and develop\nEffective communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to tailor delivery to suit the audience\nDemonstrative initiative, willing and able to identify new opportunities for improvement and bring them forward\nHighly organized and able to effectively prioritize responsibilities and self-direct work\nTo remain competitive, support our high-performance culture and allow for more flexibility in the way we work, we offer a hybrid work model and flexible dress code for our eligible office-based workforce in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. #LI-Hybrid\nAbout our business\nWe are a leader in North American energy infrastructure, spanning Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.
