Connect to what matters.\nThe Opportunity\nThe Reliability Execution (RE) Team within Operations Maintenance & Support (OM&S) supports the planning and execution of complex facility maintenance for Canada Gas Operations (CGO). This includes managing complex maintenance activities and Facility Improvement Process items for Canada Operations Technical Services (COTS) and CGO, ensuring work is executed in a well-coordinated, cost-effective and safe manner.\nAs a Project Manager, Reliability Execution, you will be a key contributor to the management of complex facility maintenance work, supporting the reliable operation and continuous improvement of assets across TC Energy’s Canadian pipeline systems. You will report to the Manager, Reliability Execution.\nIn this individual contributor position, you will work closely with other groups, including Operations and Engineering, to plan, organize and execute regulated facility programs. We will rely on you to execute maintenance work while also contributing to the development of Reliability Execution’s systems, processes and tools used to plan and execute the work.\nWhat you’ll do\nLiaise with internal customer groups to understand a project’s operational, commercial, regulatory, land, Indigenous and environmental objectives, and determine the necessary scope, deliverables, cost, schedule and quality requirements\nManage multiple projects simultaneously, including budget, schedule and reporting functions, while delivering work safely, on time and on budget\nIdentify and mitigate risks through team engagement, risk registers, planning and controls\nSupport the development of cost estimates, including appropriate allowances for risk, contingency and escalation\nDevelop project plans where required, such as scopes of work, requests for proposals, regulatory applications, project execution plans, communication plans, risk management plans, change management plans, resource plans, procurement plans, safety management plans and construction management plans\nWork with Supply Chain Management throughout the full life cycle of external contractor engagements, including the development of procurement strategies, scopes of work and contracts with external service providers\nWork with Work Management to schedule resources and outages, and support material requisitions\nMaintain regular communication with client groups and manage stakeholder and client expectations\nPrepare formal reports and provide senior leadership with project updates\nParticipate in the continued development of project planning and project management tools, templates and processes by identifying and applying opportunities for improvement\nOversee project design and facilitate technical reviews to ensure all applicable specifications, codes, legal requirements and regulatory requirements are met\nManage site execution, with an emphasis on safety, quality and project turnover, and engage Construction Management & Inspection resources where necessary\nSupport the formation and continuous improvement of the Reliability Execution organization, including: Executing the change management plan, including assessing the current state, developing the future-state vision, ideation and planning, and team building\nMapping team processes for complex maintenance development, planning and execution, and ensuring alignment with existing project and work management processes\nDeveloping and maintaining formal processes and procedures for project execution, including, but not limited to, playbooks, project templates, project delivery plans, roadmaps and contract documents\nIdentifying, investigating and capitalizing on additional opportunities to support CGO and other stakeholders\n\nMinimum qualifications\n6 years of related project management experience\nProficiency with PC-based computer systems and software applications, with an emphasis on SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Copilot and Power BI\nPreferred qualifications\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification\nChange management experience or certification\nPost-secondary degree in Business, Engineering, Sciences, or a technical trades certification in a related field\nPrevious experience with Regional Asset Reliability, Pipe Integrity, In-Line Inspection, Measurement, Emissions, Fleet, Cathodic Protection, Abandonment and/or Post-Construction Reclamation projects\nQuantitative and analytical skills\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization in a clear and concise manner\nDemonstrated ability to manage varied tasks, adapt to changing priorities and determine appropriate prioritization to support timely execution\nLeadership skills in delegation, negotiation, communication and consensus building to coordinate work and meet objectives.
